AMP’s mission is to provide students with advanced professional photography, video and audio production skills at a low tuition cost. AMP’s affordable tuition allows students to invest in their own equipment needed to begin working immediately after graduation. It just makes sense!

Class Schedules

AMP offers both full- and part-time classes to fit students' schedules. We offer day and evening classes that start every Spring and Fall.

ABOUT THE AREA

Hanover, Pennsylvania is known as the "snack food capital of the United States," and has been featured many times on networks such as the Food Network. Companies such as Utz’s Quality Foods, Snyder’s of Hanover, Hershey Chocolates, Hanover Foods, Wolfgang Candy, Martin’s Potato Chips, among others are located right here in the vicinity. The area has very low crime statistics, and students enjoy a high degree of safety while attending AMP and living in the surrounding communities.

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is located only 15 minutes west of AMP, giving students local access to famous battlegrounds and museums of the American Civil War. The area provides fantastic locations for shooting photo and video projects, blending urban aesthetics with picturesque countrysides.

OUR FACILITies

AMP is housed in a newly-renovated 7,200 square foot facility located in the old McSherrystown (Hanover), PA Firehouse. The Academy sports state-of-the-art photography and recording studios that students utilize on a daily basis.

The Academy's photography studio has a 50-foot cyclorama wall, 1 large bay door for large product photography (such as automobiles), and 1200 square feet of floor space for students to use for photo & video productions.
